Today we're introducing another recently added member of our team! GORGEOUS Miss Tara!!! Some of you might remember Tara from last year, when I first met this stylish, fun, and happy-go-lucky girl!!! She killed it during her senior session, where I instantly fell in love with her upbeat, genuine personality, and fresh style. So I knew that she was somebody that would be a great addition to our brand and team.
Our mantra these days is to LOVE what we're doing, and have fun while we're doing it. We're surrounding ourselves with like-minded people with a positive outlook on life. I don't know about you, but I LOVE TO LAUGH and have fun. I want to enjoy every second of every day. So choosing someone like Tara to assist with styling during shoots was a no-brainer. She's a gorgeous girl, inside and out, with great style. Plus, she rocks at demonstrating the "sassy" face. Bonus points! Lol. No for real, this girl is AMAZING!!!!
Here's a little about Tara, her style, her experience with K + S, and what she's bringing to the table.
1. What/who inspires your style?
Vanessa Hutchins would be an inspiration for me, her boho style always catches my eye.
2. What is one staple piece of clothing that you can't live without?'
I cannot live with out my over-sized sweaters, stripped shirts, and floral cover ups.
3. How would you describe your style?
Layers, cohesive, and fun!
4. What is one rule you live by when putting together an outfit?
DON'T BE BASIC!!
5. What are your favorite clothing/accessories/shoes stores?
Old Navy, Marshalls and consignment stores, because you can find unique and fun things!
6. What is your favorite trend this season?
High-waisted pants and crop tops!
7. Tell me three words that describe you perfectly.
Hipster, creative, and Bohemian
8. How did you effortlessly put together the looks for this shoot? Talk me through this. ;)
Well when I was informed about the Kate spade inspired theme, I had my eye out for a stripped shirt (I already had the floral blazer). Once I found the shirt, I chose a pair of jeans that matched the color scheme of the rest of the outfit. The jeans were a light wash and then I topped it off with a pair of white pointy heels to pull the outfit all together. The floral romper was way too fun for me to pass up! Yellow is a color you don't see too often, so I just had to pick it! Those were tipped with a pair of fuchsia wedges with gold jewels on them. (:
9. Any tips or tricks to taking an ok outfit and making it a wow outfit?
Back to the number one rule DON'T BE BASIC! mix up your colors, see what colors cohes with others, add and mix pattern and don't be afraid to layer!
10. Online shopping or in store?
Definitely in store, while shopping online is convenient shopping in store gives you the better feel, you can touch and try on and see exactly what it's like before you decide to purchase it.
11. We want to know, how was your experience in front of the K + S camera?
The experience is always a blast! Kuirsta makes you feel confident and comfortable. Anyone would enjoy being in front of the camera with K + S.
12. How will having an on-location stylist transform the K + S experience?
An on location stylist will help clients learn about what styles work best with there body type. Also clients will feel more confident knowing that someone will be there to give fashion advice and help them look amazing in there pictures! By adding a stylist to K + S photography it will expand the company and give people the best experience possible!
